Job Description:

• Aligning quality processes in Cygni's Lithium batteries towards automotive standards (eg. IATF16949, APQP)
• Performing regular internal audits within Manufacturing, Sales, R&D and Management, and ensuring adherence to quality processes across all departments
• Driving resolution of non-conformities and CAPAs
• Leading monthly QA meetings. Training management of personnel. Maintaining Quality KPIs
• Acting as the main point of contact on all quality matters, internally and externally
• Continually developing and maintaining the company's QMS system to support rapid growth
• Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments to draft acceptable quality standards.
• Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
• Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
• Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies.

Education & Experience:

• You have B Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronic engineering or comparable study paths (M Tech would be even better)

• Minimum Eight to 10 years of related experience required with at least five years as a quality manager or similar role highly preferred.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in both QA and production/R&D within the electronics or automotive industry

• Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, can-do approach to quality
• Strong project management skills and ambitions to shape the company culture across departments
• Experience with both small and large companies will be an advantage, as Cygni is in transition from a start-up company to being a part of a large company
