About The/Nudge

The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.

Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover and more.

Set up with support from 100+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates and 15+ foundations including the Gates Foundation, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan Nilekani, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC Bank, Mphasis, KPMG and L'Oreal, we are contributing towards a "poverty-free India, within our lifetime".

Reporting manager:
This position will report to the Founder & CEO and own our global fundraising to deliver on the impact aspirations of The/Nudge.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Understand and stay up to date about all our programs at all times
• Own our global fundraising strategy and execution across donor segments, including corporates (CSR), foundations, HNI/UHNIs etc
• Build and scale a high performing fundraising team that is aligned with the spirit of The/Nudge
• Build a compelling value proposition for each donor segment for all our programs
• Build systems, processes and capacity needed for fundraising
• Collaborate tightly with other internal stakeholders to drive results
• Balance priorities to deliver on short-term goals while building for the long haul
• Represent The/Nudge in relevant public forums across the ecosystem

What are we looking for?

• Strong intent and passion to do impactful work
• High achievement motivation, and overall positive energy
• 20+ years of total work experience, with a demonstrated track record of having exceeded targets consistently
• Willingness to travel extensively within and outside India
• Hands-on intrapreneurial style, with a strong growth and learning mindset
• Empathetic and collaborative leadership style
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Natural comfort with a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
