Job Description: AI / Systems QA Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience Range: 4–12 years (Mid to Senior-level roles open)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled QA Engineers who excel at understanding and validating complex, data-driven systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical acumen, proven expertise in testing backend and AI-driven workflows, and the ability to identify inconsistencies in structured log data with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze structured logs (JSON, traces, state diffs) to detect anomalies, mismatches, or regression patterns.
  • Design and execute QA plans for conversational systems, automation workflows, and backend integrations.
  • Validate data quality and system reliability across distributed platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify root causes and ensure defect-free deliveries.
  • Report, track, and drive resolution of issues across pre-production and production environments.
  • Enhance test coverage using automation, data verification, and exploratory testing practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Systems Testing.
  • Proven expertise in reading structured logs (JSON, traces, telemetry data).
  • Experience in QA for complex systems such as AI/ML models, workflow automation tools, payment or fintech systems, or fraud detection platforms.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability—able to connect issues across technical layers.
  • Familiarity with backend APIs, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Background

  • Previous titles: AI QA Engineer, Backend QA Engineer, Systems QA Engineer, Platform QA Engineer.
  • Experience with tools like Postman, Kibana, Grafana, or other JSON tracing/monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to AI system evaluation, reliability testing, or Ops QA environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80, ₹100,000.00 per month
