Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer/Manager to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling process instruments such as flow, level, pressure, and temperature transmitters, as well as analyzers. This role requires a strong customer network, excellent sales acumen, and the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging existing customer networks and generating new leads.
  • Promote and sell process instruments, including transmitters and analyzers, to clients in industries such as chemical, Fertilizer, Cement, Paper, oil & gas, power, water treatment, and manufacturing, etc.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Regularly engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, and after-sales services.

Operational Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the internal technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate with the testing and calibration team to ensure product quality and compliance with client specifications.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities.
  • Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.

Team Leadership (Manager Role):

  • Mentor and guide channel partner, their team, and network in the region to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Monitor and manage regional sales targets and team performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- Sales Engineer: 3+ years of experience in selling process instruments.
- Sales Manager: 5+ years of experience, including regional business development and team management.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of flow, level, pressure, and temperature transmitters and analyzers.
- Familiarity with industry standards and client application requirements.
- Sales Acumen:
- Proven ability to grow business and achieve sales targets.
- A strong network of customers across relevant industries.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and MS Office Suite.
