Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to oversee the kitchen operations at Joysuites Hospitality in Pune. The ideal candidate should excel in Indian, Indo-Chinese, Continental, and Multi-cuisine dishes, ensuring high-quality food preparation and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Development: Create and update diverse, seasonal menus featuring Indian and multi-cuisine dishes.
Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and hygiene.
Team Leadership: Train and lead kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Food Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Cost Management: Control food costs, manage inventory, and maintain supplier relationships.
Quality Control:Ensure excellent food presentation and taste consistency.
Customer Focus: Adapt offerings based on customer feedback and special events.
Equipment Maintenance:Ensure all kitchen equipment is functional and maintained.
Should be very focused on hygiene aspects and should have an overall approach of being Customer Conscious/taste.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or incharge of food & beverages similar role.
Expertise in Indian, Indo-Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
Bachelor's degree in food and catering technology.
Strong leadership, creativity, and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and cost control.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹16, ₹62,176.38 per month
