Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


• Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories)


• Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards/Guidelines for development


• Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the re-quirements / user stories


• Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria


• Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks


• Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required


• Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing


• Provide any required training to the users on the user stories


• Develop, test and maintain Integrations within ServiceNow

Communicate ServiceNow best practice principles with developers of external systems in situations where these systems require configuration or customization for the integration

Essential Skill:


• Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub recommended


• Experience with the development and maintenance of integrations using various protocols such as REST, SOAP, LDAP, JDBC


• High level of competency writing and maintaining JavaScript and PowerShell to meet the re-quirements


• Experience implementing data transformations both in a file-based context and using scripting


• Relevant IT architecture experience, Understanding of network architecture and the security implications on integrations


• Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing


• Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design develop-ment, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability


• Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator


• Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology


• Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards


• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Behavioral competency


• Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and writ-ten)


• Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratevily


• Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospec-tives)


• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification


• ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification


• Java developer certification
