Position : Senior Resident - Ophthalmology

Location : SMIH, Patel Nagar, Dehradun

Senior Resident - Ophthalmology shall be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting eye examinations, performing tests, and potentially teaching or supervising junior staff. The prospective candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team and will be required to stay updated on the latest trends in eye care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:

Conducting routine eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and handling medical emergencies.

  • Surgical Assistance:

Assisting in surgeries and other complex procedures related to ophthalmology.

  • Teaching and Supervision:

Instructing interns, residents or other staff in ophthalmological procedures and techniques.

  • Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of the latest trends in eye care, diagnosis, and treatment.

  • Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications: As per NMC norms

  • MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology with MBBS degree.

  • Experience ranging from 0-5 years

  • Candidate must be comfortable in doing rotational shifts
