Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to orthopaedic patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
  • Assist in and perform orthopaedic surgeries under supervision.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds, case presentations, and departmental meetings.
  • Teach and guide junior residents, interns, and medical students.
  • Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, and other quality improvement activities.
  • Engage in academic and research work, including presentations and publications.
  • Take on-call duties as per the departmental rota.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:

  • MBBS from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

  • Postgraduate degree (MS / DNB) in Orthopaedics from a recognized university/institution.

  • Registration:

  • Must be registered with the NMC or relevant State Medical Council.
