Job Summary:

The
Application Testing Team
is seeking a highly skilled
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
to architect, develop, and maintain a
scalable and intelligent test automation framework
. This role requires hands-on expertise in traditional test automation tools like
Selenium,Playwright
, along with modern
AI-powered testing platforms
such as
TestRigor
and
Testim
.

You will play a key role in accelerating release cycles, improving software quality, and reducing manual testing efforts through innovation and automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks
  for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using
  Playwright and Python
  and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and implement
  AI-powered test automation tools
  such as
  TestRigor
  ,
  Testim
  , or
  Mabl
  to improve coverage, test creation speed, and test maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and DevOps to align test coverage with business goals.
• Drive adoption of AI-based test case generation, self-healing scripts, and intelligent test prioritization.
• Ensure framework extensibility for web, mobile, and API layers.
• Review code for test scripts, enforce coding standards, and ensure high test reliability and maintainability.
• Provide documentation, training, and support to team members on using and extending the automation framework.
• Continuously monitor test execution, analyze flakiness, and optimize for performance and accuracy.

Job Location & Schedule:

• This job is an onsite job at Logile Bhubaneswar Office.
• It is expected that the selected candidate will be available to work with some hours of overlap with US working times

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in test automation development.
• Strong experience with
  Selenium, Playwright
  and core automation principles.
• Programming proficiency in
  Python, JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one
  AI-powered test automation platform
  , such as:
• Hands-on experience with
  REST API testing
  using
  Postman, RestAssured
  , or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Good understanding of test lifecycle management, version control (Git), and Agile processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating AI tools in enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of self-healing automation, intelligent locator strategies, or test impact analysis.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The compensation and benefits associated for this role is benchmarked against the best in industry and job location.
• Shift allowance (for applicable roles and shifts) will be provided in addition to salary. Our standard shift is from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Employees working in non-standard shifts (starting at or after 4:00 PM) will also be eligible for a food allowance (or subsidized meals) and cab drop facilities, as arranged by the company. For shifts starting at or after 8:00 PM, cab pickup will also be provided.
