Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer with strong expertise in Model-Based

Systems Engineering (MBSE), aerospace standards, system architecture design, and complete

product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will lead system-level design, integration, testing,

validation, and certification activities for advanced UAV and aerospace platforms. This role requires

deep technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strong problem-solving capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture & Design:
    Develop system architecture, subsystems, interfaces, and specifications while applying MBSE tools (SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo) and ensuring compliance with MIL/Aerospace standards.
  • Requirements Management:
    Lead requirement capture, flow-down, traceability, validation, and manage baselines, updates, and change control using tools like Jira, Confluence, or DOORS.
  • System Integration & Testing:
    Plan and execute integration, functional testing, environmental/endurance testing, and maintain SOPs, test procedures, and validation frameworks.
  • Product Lifecycle Management:
    Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing, deployment, support, and retirement in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Quality, RCA & CAPA:
    Conduct RCA, implement CAPA, ensure quality assurance, and drive system reliability improvements.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Prepare design documents, analysis reports, integration logs, V&V reports, risk assessments, and maintain accurate performance tracking.
  • Compliance & Certification:
    Ensure adherence to certification standards (MIL-STD, DO-178C/254/160, ISO, AS9100) and support customer and regulatory audits.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Lead design reviews, guide multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and provide mentorship for engineering excellence.
  • UAV Systems Expertise:
    Apply deep knowledge of UAV layouts, avionics, propulsion, communication modules, sensors, powertrain, payload integration, and system architecture.
  • Technology Integration:
    Evaluate and integrate new components, technologies, and subsystems into existing UAV platforms for continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • 6–12+ years of experience in system engineering (preferably aerospace/UAV domain).
  • Strong knowledge of MBSE, system architecture, and aerospace standards.
  • Experience in system integration, testing, validation, and certification processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in RCA/CAPA, data analysis, and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional engineering environments.
  • Utilize Python scripting for quick debugging, system probing, testing automation, and data extraction during system integration.
