The successful candidate will work closely with our QA/QC Manager to oversee batching plant operations, implement site quality control measures, and ensure compliance with IS codes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Testing & Quality Checks
  • Conduct daily checking and testing of raw materials, including cement, fly ash, aggregates, soil, steel, and finishing materials
  • Execute trial mix testing and validate mix design specifications
  • Perform daily moisture correction calculations to ensure concrete quality standards
  • Batching Plant Operations
  • Oversee concrete production maintenance at the batching plant
  • Ensure mix design compliance and consistency
  • Monitor batching operations for quality adherence
  • Site Quality Management
  • Monitor site quality parameters, including curing processes
  • Prevent honeycomb formation through proper inspection
  • Maintain cube register and conduct post-concrete checks
  • Ensure adherence to quality protocols at construction sites
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare accurate test reports for all material testing activities

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering OR
  • B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in concrete testing and quality control
  • Construction industry experience, preferably in residential high-rise projects
  • Proven track record in material testing and quality assurance

Must-have Technical Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience in concrete testing and trail mix preparation
  • Proven expertise in mix design development and validation
  • Material testing proficiency: Cement, Fly ash, Aggregate, Soil, Steel, Finishing materials
  • Strong understanding of IS codes and quality standards for construction materials
  • Test report preparation and documentation skills
  • Experience working with batching plants in construction sites

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Hands-on experience in batching plant handling and operations
  • Knowledge of ERP systems for production tracking
  • Familiarity with high-rise residential construction projects
  • Understanding of QAQC protocols in construction
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
