**Job Description: Lab Technician - Pharma Startup (Kolkata / Lucknow)Job Overview**

As a Lab Technician in our growing pharmaceutical startup, you'll support R&D, quality control, and lab operations. This role demands technical aptitude, accuracy, and a strong commitment to maintaining lab safety and regulatory compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute experiments, assays, and analytical tests following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and process samples; manage reagents and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain and calibrate instruments like centrifuges, pH meters, balances, FTIR, etc.
- Document experimental workflows, results, and observations accurately using tools like LIMS (if available) and Excel.
- Ensure lab cleanliness and safety: clean benches, sterilize glassware, monitor environmental conditions (like incubator/cold storage temperatures).
- Manage inventory of consumables and reagents; reorder stock proactively to avoid disruptions.
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
- Support senior scientists and researchers in R&D initiatives, formulation development, and QC processes.

**Essential Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Pharmacy, or related field.
- **Experience**: Lab experience (academic, internships, or industrial) preferred; familiarity with QC or R&D operations valued.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient with laboratory instruments and sample preparation.
- Comfortable using LIMS and MS Office (particularly Excel for documentation and basic analysis).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data recording.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines, equipment checks, and inventories.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- **Physical Requirements**: Able to stand for long periods, handle lab equipment safely, and maintain neat workspaces.

**Preferred (Nice-to-Have)**
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (GxP compliance) in pharma.
- Previous experience in a startup environment—a versatility to handle multiple responsibilities, quick adaptability, and a proactive mindset.

Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹25,500.00 per month
