The Data Specialist undertakes analysis on data flows and interactions and how it impacts our data consistency and applications. The Data Specialist will undertake complex analytical scenarios and help drive solutions and standardization. They will demonstrate subject management expertise on data structures, data impacts and validation rules, their key involvement will be to drive solutions and consistency of data and controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of data attributes across multiple systems and processes and aims to ensure data interaction, impacts are known and understood
- Conduct in-depth research on companies to determine their primary and secondary business segments.
- Analyses company websites, financial reports, and other public data sources.
- Classify companies into predefined industry segments based on business activities, products, and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine segmentation frameworks and ensure consistency.
- Maintain and update segmentation databases with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify emerging business models and suggest updates to segmentation categories.
- Support data quality initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of segmentation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong analytical, organization and prioritization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Good understanding of the LSEG CRM system, Navigation and data flows
- Ability to Deals with difficult customer (internal &external) situations with a professional and resourceful manner for resolution
