Job Description: International Business Development ManagerPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced International Business Development Manager to drive business growth in international markets, with a primary focus on Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) technical sales or Oil & Gas project sales, with proven ability to develop and convert business opportunities outside India.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in international markets, particularly in Africa
- Generate and manage a robust pipeline of leads through strategic prospecting and networking
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors
- Develop and execute market entry strategies for target regions
Sales & Client Management
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from lead qualification to contract closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to achieve profitable business outcomes
- Achieve assigned revenue and business development targets
Market Expansion
- Travel extensively to international markets to meet clients and close deals
- Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Gather competitive intelligence and market insights to inform business strategy
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solution alignment with client requirements
Required QualificationsExperience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in international technical sales
- Must have experience in either:
- NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) technical sales, OR
- Oil & Gas project sales
- Proven track record of business development in international markets (outside India)
- Experience working in or selling to African markets is highly preferred
- Demonstrated success in lead qualification and conversion
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical understanding of NDT services or Oil & Gas industry operations
- Excellent lead qualification and prospecting abilities
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in international markets with minimal supervision
- Strong business acumen and commercial negotiation capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred
