About the Role

We're looking for a proactive Team Leader – Insurance Renewal to oversee our vehicle insurance renewal operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team focused on ensuring smooth, timely, and customer-friendly renewal of motor insurance policies for existing car owners.

You'll be responsible for driving renewal targets, coordinating with insurers, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring end-to-end process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the insurance renewal team to achieve monthly and annual renewal targets.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for motor insurance renewals.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and dealership teams for quotes, renewals, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of renewal leads from the customer database.
  • Handle escalations and provide resolutions to customer issues related to policy renewals.
  • Track team performance, maintain MIS/reports, and share regular updates with management.
  • Train and guide team members on process improvements and sales techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with IRDA and company guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in motor insurance renewals, preferably in the automobile dealership or insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
  • Knowledge of motor insurance products, add-ons, and claim processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools.
  • Target-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
