The Presales Director Role
The Pre-Sales Organization at Qlik is a key interface to our customers and prospects working in tandem with all other Qlik departments, including Business Development, Sales, Consulting and Support. In this role, you will leverage these relationships to support overall sales efforts to drive revenue in net new accounts and expand our presence in the territory's existing customer base. The teams work geographically and may be industry focused as well.
Here's how you'll be making an impact:
- Leads, develops, and motivates the pre-sales team, providing guidance, mentoring and support to ensure effective collaboration and high-performance standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve pre-sales targets and objectives
- Manage limited presales resources to provide account support and shared resource support.
- Actively collaborate with peers to address regional presales coverage gaps and leverage technical expertise to win opportunities.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Qlik products and their applications, across both the data integration and analytics BUs, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to provide insights and recommendations for product enhancements.
- Work closely with product management to provide input and guidance for strategic product roadmap to ensure the unique needs of customers are addressed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and understanding their unique challenges and requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, develop customized solutions, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and other sales collateral for clients.
- Ensure proposals align with client needs, industry best practices, and Qlik's value proposition.
- Provide ongoing training to the pre-sales team on new product features, industry trends, and effective presentation techniques.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
We're looking for a teammate with:
- Proven 8+ years' experience in building and managing high performance teams with a reputation for being a role model in people management and operational excellence.
- A Self-driven and results-oriented style with a strong will to succeed, If you are a naturally organized person with determination to deliver excellence in hi/herself and others.
- Excellent communication skills with highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively. A strong team player who can obtain positive visibility and credibility.
- The ability to leads people. Motivates and drives desired behaviors.
- Are committed to delivering outstanding customer service delivery and supporting and driving our customer success initiative.
- Proven background in a coaching style of people leadership
- Strong BI background with ability to solve problems in a BI environment
- Successful enterprise-type software implementation and PreSales experience in enterprise organizations
- Experience in managing existing as well as prospective customers both on and off site
- Understanding of respective business sector / vertical
- Relevant competitive knowledge advantageous
- Understanding of broad technology ecosystem
- Qlik Product experience advantageous
- Ability to go "hands-on" when needed
