We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineers to join our dynamic QA team and ensure the delivery of flawless software products.

Job Description:

As a Manual Test Engineer at Codewave Technology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and providing feedback to developers for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand project requirements and business needs to create test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.

Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications across different platforms.

Execute test cases, identify defects, and work with development teams to reproduce, report, and track issues.

Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure that all software requirements are properly implemented and tested.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.

Perform regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for each testing phase.

Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Up to 4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Software Testing.

Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and different types of testing (functional, regression, UAT, etc.).

Experience in writing and executing test cases, defect tracking, and reporting.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to execute basic queries.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying software defects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium/Playwright is a plus.

Experience in testing web services and APIs using tools like Postman/Swagger.

Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter/k6 is a bonus.
