Location: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) , Mumbai.

Full-time 3 Years Experience Security-Centric Role

We're looking for a skilled System Administrator - Security who can proactively manage incidents, monitor security solutions, and ensure the highest standards of information security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the SOC team to resolve security incidents including malware infections and suspicious activity.
  • Monitor security dashboards for availability, alerts, and system health.
  • Troubleshoot and follow up on issues related to firewalls, endpoint protection, and other security tools.
  • Liaise with OEMs and SIs for escalations, updates, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Assist users and administrators in resolving access control and security software issues.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on security status and incident metrics.
  • Ensure timely call logging, resolution tracking, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Maintain proper documentation of incidents, configurations, and remediation steps.

Must-Have Skills & Certifications:

  • 3 years of experience in IT security administration and incident management.

Certifications in any of the following:

  • CCNA / CCNP (Routing & Switching)
  • CCSA
  • CompTIA Security
  • Vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet).
  • Strong knowledge in managing endpoint protection, firewalls, and SIEM tools.
  • Familiarity with standard security protocols and response strategies.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with firewall policy management, traffic monitoring, and alert tuning.
  • Exposure to compliance audits, policy enforcement, and documentation practices.
  • Understanding of network security architecture, access control, and threat mitigation.
