Position DescriptionThe Assistant Manager – Anodizing Fixture Maintenance supports the Fixture Maintenance Manager in overseeing fixture maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing process improvements. This role involves supervising maintenance teams, coordinating with production and engineering departments, and driving efficiency in fixture management to minimize downtime and enhance anodizing quality. Job Responsibilities Fixture Maintenance and Process Optimization:Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fixture durability and conductivity.
Maintain maintenance records, analyse data, and generate reports on fixture performance. Supervise the inspection, repair, and maintenance of anodizing fixtures. Assist in audits and compliance documentation related to fixture maintenance.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend fixture life. Troubleshoot fixture-related issues impacting anodizing quality and production efficiency. Collaborate with CFT to improve fixture designs and materials.
Diagnose Fixture breakdown issues and take corrective action. Team Management and Coordination: Lead and guide fixture maintenance technicians and engineers. Plan and assign daily maintenance tasks based on production requirements.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of the maintenance team. Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor fixture inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of spare parts. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high fixture reliability.
Work with Fixture Engineering and design team for fixture modifications, repairs, and new developments. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations. Enforce the use of PPE and safe handling procedures for fixtures.
Conduct risk assessments and take corrective actions for fixture-related hazards. Required Skills and ExperienceDiploma/Degree in Mechanical, Tool and Die 10+ years of experience in fixture maintenance, preferably in anodizing or electroplating Strong knowledge of fixture materials, conductivity, and maintenance best practices Experience in leading teams and coordinating with multiple departments Proficiency in maintenance tracking software and basic CAD for fixture design modifications Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
