Maintenance Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring meeting planned production targets with desired quality within time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster expertise in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Computers, and Automation to drive maintenance efficiency.
  • Develop knowledge of standardizing, evaluating, and controlling machine spares to optimize inventory management.
  • Stay familiar with work and quality systems such as ISO, TS-16949, 5S, and TPM to ensure compliance.
  • Expand knowledge of the internet and computers to improve digital literacy.
  • Elevate exposure to ERP systems like SAP and Oracle to enhance system implementation.
  • Understand legal compliance (Factory Act) and environmental norms to ensure adherence.
  • Train and guide the maintenance crew in troubleshooting, modifying circuits and mechanisms, procuring and maintaining spares, analyzing breakdowns, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to strategic planning of various maintenance functions to drive business growth.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analyzing skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to formulate, plan, and execute comprehensive preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance programs for machines.
  • Proficiency in designing and reconditioning machine control panels to improve system reliability.
  • Competence in material procurement, vendor development, and negotiation to optimize costs.
  • Able to train and guide maintenance crew members to enhance team performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 to 20 years of hands-on experience in maintenance departments of manufacturing industries working with diverse types of machines.
  • Experience with PLC-based special-purpose machines, utilities, hydraulic and mechanical presses, material handling equipment, ovens, and furnaces.
  • Age: 35 & above
  • Qualification: B.E/Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical)
