Role Overview

The Executive/ Sr Executive - Influencer Strategy is responsible for driving the thinking and planning behind influencer campaigns. This role requires staying ahead of pop culture, internet trends, and the influencer ecosystem to ensure the right creators are matched to the right ideas. The manager will also bring expertise in different influencer marketing formats from meme marketing and PR amplification to celebrity partnerships and affiliate programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build influencer plans that map the right mix of creators to campaign ideas and objectives.
  • Stay ahead of pop culture, trending names, and life moments that can be leveraged by brands.
  • Specialize in influencer marketing formats: meme marketing, PR-driven plays, digital amplification, celebrity partnerships, barter, and affiliate programs.
  • Develop vertical expertise (fashion, beauty, tech, finance, lifestyle, etc.) to provide sharp recommendations.
  • Partner with Creative Strategy to embed influencers organically into ideas.
  • Partner with Buying & Negotiation to ensure recommendations are feasible within budget.
  • Maintain an influencer intelligence database with cost, engagement, and performance insights.
  • Benchmark influencers against category standards and competitors.
  • Forecast campaign performance based on influencer fit (with Media & Analytics).
  • Share post-campaign learnings to improve future planning.
  • Identify trending and undiscovered talent to drive efficiencies.
  • Maintain and build relationships with influencers and talent agencies; meet them to explore new opportunities for partnership.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in influencer marketing, talent partnerships, or digital strategy.
  • Comfortable using Generative AI tools for trend spotting, creator research, and building sharper influencer recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of the influencer ecosystem across categories and platforms.
  • Ability to connect brand objectives with cultural and creator opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical ability to assess creator performance.
