Job Title: National Sales Head North & East (Racking Division)
Location: Base location in North India (Kanpur preferred); extensive travel across North and East regions.
Reports to: Director Managing Director
Job Summary: The National Sales Head (North & East) will be responsible for leading and driving sales operations, strategy, and growth in the North and East regions for the racking and storage solutions division.
The role involves managing regional sales teams, expanding market presence, developing key accounts, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for North and East India aligned with overall company objectives.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and emerging business segments in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and retail.
Revenue & Growth Management
Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets and profitability for both regions. Expand distribution channels and customer network.
Team Management
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional sales team. Set targets for regional sales managers and monitor performance. Ensure training and skill development of the team to meet technical and commercial requirements.
Key Account & Project Management
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, architects, consultants, and contractors. Oversee large project negotiations and ensure seamless execution in collaboration with project and operations teams. Market Development & Intelligence Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies. Recommend new product initiatives and support product positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with design, production, marketing, and project execution teams for smooth project delivery. Support marketing efforts such as trade fairs, exhibitions, and lead-generation activities in the region.
Reporting & Budgeting
Prepare regional sales budgets and forecasts. Submit regular sales reports, pipeline status, and market analysis to senior management.
Key Requirements:
Education: Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial preferred) or Business; MBA in Sales & Marketing is an advantage.
Experience: 1218 years of sales experience in industrial racking/storage solutions, with at least 5 years in a senior/regional leadership role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
Strong network and relationships in warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, retail, and industrial segments in North and East India.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on, result-oriented approach.
Other: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned regions.
