Job Purpose:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including expense booking, vendor invoices, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records in Tally. The role ensures timely and correct recording of expenses and supports the overall financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and book day-to-day expenses, vendor bills, and employee reimbursements in Tally.
  • Verify bills, supporting documents, and approvals before expense booking.
  • Maintain accurate ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents for audit purposes.
  • Process vendor and supplier payments as per due dates.
  • Prepare and maintain records of petty cash, staff advances, and expense claims.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for timely collection and verification of expense documents.
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
  • Generate reports related to expenses, payables, and outstanding balances as required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and expense management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounts, with hands-on exposure to Tally.
  • Prior experience in expense booking, payables, or general accounting is essential.
