Position: Accounts Executive

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Account Executive / Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments (both receivables and payables).
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, etc.).
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow and fund flow.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for financial queries and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS as applicable).

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in the manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure sector.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Type: Full-time
