Senior Product Designer

About the role

We are a rapidly evolving financial services firm currently transitioning from a traditional, service-based model to an innovative, high-growth digital platform. This is a foundational role where you won't just be maintaining features—you'll be instrumental in defining and building the future of Vcheck. 

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design lifecycle for key areas of our platform. This role requires a combination of exceptional design, deep strategic UX thinking, and the ability to articulate complex concepts through clear, compelling design and high-impact presentations. If you thrive on complexity, possess outstanding communication skills, and are ready to be the design voice leading a major business transformation, we want to hear from you. 

What you'll be doing

This role focuses on driving design quality, strategic collaboration, and clear communication across the platform lifecycle. 

Design Execution & Strategy 

• Drive the design strategy and execution for core platform features, translating complex financial workflows and data into simple, intuitive user experiences. 
• Deliver production-ready designs with an uncompromising standard for visual quality, aesthetic judgment, and attention to detail. 
• Evolve and govern our platform-wide Design System, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across all products. 
• Plan and conduct user research (interviews, usability testing) and data analysis to inform design decisions and uncover unmet user needs. 
• Produce comprehensive design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications for engineering teams. 

Communication & Collaboration 

• Act as the primary design partner for Product Managers, Engineering leads, and internal Stakeholders, fostering seamless cross-department collaboration. 
• Confidently present and defend design solutions, strategy, and rationale to executive leadership, articulating how design decisions directly impact business outcomes and user success. 
• Facilitate design reviews and workshops, clearly soliciting and synthesizing feedback from diverse teams and translating it into actionable design iterations. 

About you

Key requirements:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience designing and shipping successful digital products, with significant experience in complex B2B platforms, enterprise software, or financial technology. 
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Visual Excellence: An exceptional portfolio demonstrating mastery of visual design, information hierarchy, and interaction design (micro-interactions, states, animations). 
• Communication Mastery: Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across mediums (written, verbal, and visual). Must be comfortable leading large, diverse groups through design reviews and presentations. 
• Technical Partnership: Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating directly with front-end engineers to ensure design integrity during implementation. 
• Tool Expertise: Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design and prototyping tools).
