Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
Product Designer

to join our growing Product Design team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career designer with a strong foundational understanding of user-centered design principles, visual design, and a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing product features.

Key Responsibilities

Design Execution & Collaboration

  • Wireframing & Prototyping:

Create detailed wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes (low to high fidelity) to communicate design ideas and test functionality.
- Visual Design:

Develop high-fidelity mockups and visual specifications that align with the established design system and brand guidelines.
- Feature Design:

Work under the guidance of a Senior Designer to design new features and iterate on existing product experiences across multiple platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
- Design System Contribution:

Assist in maintaining and evolving the company's design system and component library, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:

Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, presenting design work and receiving feedback from product, engineering, and stakeholder teams.

Skills

  • User Research Support:

Assist Senior Designers in planning and conducting basic user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing sessions.
- Feedback Integration:

Synthesize user feedback and usability test results into actionable design improvements.
- Documentation:

Prepare and hand off detailed design specifications and assets to engineering teams for implementation.
- Continuous Learning:

Proactively seek out new design methodologies, tools, and industry trends to improve your craft and contribute to the team's knowledge.
- Vibe Coder:

Should demonstrate with projects where you have used AI to build concepts, Prototypes or just for fun projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design), or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience:

0-2 years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field
- Portfolio:

A strong online portfolio showcasing projects, personal work and professional samples that demonstrate proficiency in the design process, visual design, and problem-solving skills.
- Tools:

Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools
- Foundational Knowledge:

Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, information architecture, and basic usability heuristics.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better communicate with engineers.
  • Experience contributing to or using a mature Design System.
