The
Application Analyst III
supports and optimizes health IT systems (especially
Epic
) to ensure reliable, secure, and effective technology for patient care and operational efficiency. The role bridges
technical expertise and user engagement
, ensuring systems align with CHA's mission of equitable, patient-centered healthcare.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize existing clinical and business applications (including
    Epic
    ).
  • Coordinate and test
    system upgrades, integrations, and new application deployments
    .
  • Serve as
    liaison
    between end-users, IT, and software vendors.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to enhance performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with IT Education to create and deliver
    user training
    and support optimization.
  • Provide
    technical support
    and troubleshooting to users.
  • Partner with
    Business Analysts
    to develop and refine
    reporting tools
    .
  • Manage IT projects
    in collaboration with clinical and operational leaders.


Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's in Healthcare, Information Systems, or Business Management (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • 5–7 years
    as an Application Analyst or related healthcare IT/clinical systems role.
  • Epic experience required
    ; certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in complex healthcare settings and cross-functional teams.
