We are seeking a highly skilled
L3 Application Technical Support Engineer
to join our Technology team. This role is critical in handling complex issues that cannot be resolved by L1 or L2 (non-technical support) teams.

As an L3 Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in applications, production data, and backend systems to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems. You will work closely with development and operations teams, applying strong analytical and coding skills to deliver quick workarounds, implement data fixes, and contribute production-ready code changes for releases.

This position requires a strong engineering mindset and the ability to balance customer urgency, root-cause analysis, and long-term solutions. The role includes
rotational shifts (day/night)
with
shift allowance
for night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the
    final escalation point (L3)
    for application-related issues unresolved by L1 and L2 teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues by analyzing logs, production data, and code.
  • Provide quick workarounds and implement data fixes to minimize customer impact.
  • Perform
    root cause analysis
    to determine whether issues are data, configuration, or code-related.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement and release code fixes as part of the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain ownership of issues through resolution with high-quality documentation.
  • Work in
    rotational shifts
    as part of a global support model.
  • Mentor and guide L2 team members to enhance resolution rates and reduce escalations.
  • Explore and adopt
    modern tools/AI-assisted platforms
    (e.g., Cursor, GitLab Copilot) for efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience:
    4+ years in backend development and/or enterprise-grade application support.
  • Strong expertise in
    Core Java
    and
    Spring Boot 3+
    , with hands-on experience in
    microservices architecture
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    with ability to write complex queries (PostgreSQL or Oracle preferred).
  • Experience with
    ORM frameworks
    such as Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of
    OOP, system design, and design patterns
    .
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Strong problem-solving ability, especially under high-pressure scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and AI-assisted development tools.
