Functional Consultant

As a member of the EAM360 team (one of the divisions in SEDIN). You will be working with other consultants and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

We are looking for a Functional Consultant/ Business Analyst to perform the following roles and responsibilities for our IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Practice. The person shall be willing to perform client facing role and shall possess excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills

Functional Consulting (Maximo)

• Work with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to asset management, work management, inventory, and procurement.
• Learn and develop expertise in IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) modules and apply them to client requirements.
• Translate business processes / requirements into Maximo functional configurations (asset setup, work order processes, preventive maintenance, inventory, procurement).
• Support system testing, UAT, training, and go-live activities.
• Develop Functional Design Document and Business Requirements and Solutions Document.

Project Management

• Act as project lead, managing day-to-day coordination with the client.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and project status meetings.
• Ensure project deliverables align with scope, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Exposure to Waterfall / Agile project management methodologies.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the implementation team.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Understand client priorities, provide regular status updates, and manage expectations.
• Identify opportunities to add value and support long-term client success with Maximo.
