What We're Building

Gistr is a thinking and learning tool with a native AI note-taking editor that helps people learn and understand better from videos, PDFs, and web content. We're one year into this journey, bootstrapped, and focused on building something that genuinely helps learners organize and retain knowledge.

What You'll Do

You'll be our voice in the community and the bridge between our users and our product. This means:

Community Building

  • Nurture our growing user community across platforms like Discord, Reddit, or wherever our users gather
  • Welcome newcomers and help them feel at home
  • Listen to user feedback and work with our product team to prioritize what matters most
  • Conduct onboarding calls with new users when needed

Content & Education

  • Write clear, helpful articles that show people how to get the most out of Gistr
  • Create guides for both new and existing users - from getting started to advanced tips
  • Turn complex features into simple explanations that anyone can follow
  • Help users discover how Gistr fits into their learning workflow

What We're Looking For

  • Experience building or managing online communities (any size counts)
  • Ability to write clearly and explain complex things simply
  • Genuine interest in learning tools and helping others learn better
  • Comfortable with both one-on-one conversations and broader community engagement
  • Self-directed and able to work independently in a small team environment

What This Isn't

This isn't about managing massive communities or hitting aggressive growth targets. We care more about building genuine connections with our users and creating content that actually helps them succeed.
