Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Box Office Manager at Sunburn Union in Bengaluru. The Box Office Manager will oversee all aspects of ticketing operations, including ticket sales, event ticketing, box office management, and customer service. Responsibilities also include event listings across platforms, compiling and maintaining historical ticketing data for every event, coordinating with all ticketing portals for scanning access, managing customer enquiries and ticketing mandate changes, and handling reconciliations and payouts post-event. The role requires close collaboration with the marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure a smooth ticketing experience from presale to post-event wrap-up.
Qualifications
- Ticket sales and event ticketing expertise
- Strong skills in ticket operations and box office management
- Experience managing ticketing systems and working with multiple ticketing platforms
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure during high-volume events
- Experience compiling data reports and reconciling sales and payouts
- Previous experience in nightlife, live events, or the entertainment industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Operations, or a related field
