The Role: Why This Job Matters

This is not a typical SEO job.

Your work will be the first point of contact for a parent in a moment of crisis or confusion.

When they type a question like "what are the early signs of autism?" or "my child is

non-verbal, what do I do?"—your job is to ensure that Mom's Belief provides the most

compassionate, authoritative, and helpful answer on the internet.

We are looking for a specialist who understands that in our field, trust is everything. You will

own our entire search strategy, from ranking on Google (SEO) to being the chosen source for

AI-driven answers (AEO) on platforms like Gemini and Perplexity.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Strategy & Planning

● Empathy-Led Keyword Research: Go beyond search volume. Map the entire parent

journey, from early-stage informational questions to high-intent "near me" service

searches.

● AEO Roadmap: Develop and execute our strategy to be the cited source in AI-generated

answers, focusing on structure, authority, and answer-first content.

● Competitor Analysis: Monitor the search and AI landscape to find opportunities to

out-serve and out-help our competitors.

  1. Technical & Content Implementation

● E-E-A-T & YMYL: Champion our Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, and Trust

(E-E-A-T). You will collaborate directly with our clinical team to ensure all content is

factually perfect and demonstrates our credentials.

● Content Optimization: Structure all new and existing content to be "snippable" by

AI—using clear Q&A formats, bullet points, and data.

● On-Page & Schema: Implement flawless on-page SEO and advanced schema markup

(MedicalEntity, FAQPage, Article, etc.) to give search engines maximum context.

● Technical SEO: Conduct regular audits and manage site health, including Core Web

Vitals, crawlability, and mobile-friendliness.

  1. Analysis & Reporting

● Measure What Matters: Track and report on key metrics (organic traffic, keyword

rankings, conversions) using GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools (Semrush/Ahrefs).

● AI-Impact Tracking: Develop new methods to report on our visibility and "share of

voice" within AI answer engines.

● Provide Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable

recommendations for the content and marketing teams.

Our Ideal Candidate: Is This You?

● You MUST have YMYL experience. You have 3-5+ years of SEO experience, with a

proven track record of managing a YMYL (Your Money Your Life) website (healthcare,

medical, or finance). You can speak fluently about E-E-A-T because you have

implemented it yourself.

● You are a technical and a content person. You are just as comfortable in or a

schema generator as you are optimizing a blog post for semantic intent.

● You are an expert analyst. You live in GA4, Search Console, and Semrush/Ahrefs, and

you use data to tell a story and drive strategy.

● You are driven by mission, not just metrics. The idea that your work directly helps

families find critical support genuinely excites you.

● You are a proactive communicator. You can clearly explain complex SEO concepts to

doctors, writers, and marketers.

● You are obsessed with the future of search. You are already experimenting with
