Core Responsibilities

  • Keyword Research: Identify and research target keywords to improve search visibility and optimize content accordingly.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structures to be more search engine friendly.
  • Off-Page Optimization: Develop and implement link-building strategies, manage outreach campaigns, and build high-quality backlinks from reputable sites to increase domain authority.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct website audits, identify and fix technical issues, and ensure compliance with SEO best practices for technical elements like HTML, sitemaps, and mobile-friendliness.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and implement SEO-friendly content strategies and ensure content aligns with keyword strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, to stakeholders.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' strategies to identify opportunities and develop plans to outperform them.

Required Skills & Tools

  • Analytical Skills: To analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • SEO Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HTML and CSS is often required.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and oral communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings.
