About Project Eyeway

Project Eyeway is an initiative by Score Foundation aimed at addressing the information and resource gaps faced by the visually impaired. The project focuses on empowering individuals through access to opportunities, guidance, and advocacy for their rights through various activities such as Helpdesk calls, Podcasts, Sensitization and Awareness workshops, Radio Programmes, Research Projects, Impact stories, and outreach via social media channels.

1. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Score Foundation is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Fundraising and Partnerships Officer (FPO) who shall help drive the Foundations mission forward. In this role, s/he will lead and support the fundraising initiatives, identifying and securing donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. The position requires an independent, self-starter with a strong network and the ability to foster new relationships to help secure funding to support Score Foundations programs and initiatives.

Reporting to the CEO, the FPO shall be responsible for the following.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Manage, develop and expand the Foundation's portfolio and database of mid-level donors and prospects;

(2) Conduct prospect research on Family Foundations, Corporates and Public Sector Undertakings and create donor profiles;

(3) Work closely with the CEO and programme team in planning outreach and partnerships with like-minded organisations in different states across the country;

(4) Actively identify, cultivate, and solicit new partnerships; Coordinate with colleagues and medical partners to identify opportunities which shall benefit the organization;

(5) Prepare donor narratives and fund utilization reports for Foundations and Corporate Partners; Work with the Foundation's Programs and Finance Departments to prepare impact reports and financial utilization reports, as per current CSR reporting regulations;

(6) Cultivate and mature new corporate donors to grow the revenue stream; Meet new prospects and submit proposals to drive multiyear high-value strategic partnerships;

(7) Prepare, research and submit proposals to solicit and obtain grant funding;

(8) Plan and organize donor visits and events to maximize engagement with their leadership teams as well as employees;

(9) Assist with the design and execution of stakeholder and partner events and campaigns, including donor cultivation and stewardship events;

(10) Explore and facilitate overseas fundraising in consultation with senior management, helping ensure compliance with requirements and guidelines prescribed under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

1. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications:

Applicants should have bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a reputed institution.

Experience:

Minimum five to seven years of experience and demonstrable success in business development or fundraising, ideally in a non-profit environment.

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Strong strategic, analytical, and persuasive skills;

(2) Knowledge of India CSR laws and regulations;

(3) Knowledge of FCRA regulations, processes, and reporting requirements and ability to ensure compliance in all fundraising and donor engagement activities;

(4) Ability to network and leverage contacts and connections;

(5) Ability to prioritize while working under multiple deadlines;

(6) Detail-oriented; ability to effectively collect, analyze, organize, distill and present information;

(7) Superior verbal and written communication skills;

(8) Great customer service and interpersonal skills.

1. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position ranges from Rs. 9 to 10 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
