PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Job Description:*
Develop and maintain SpringBoot applications using Java programming language.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, and provide timely resolutions.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and apply them to improve the quality and performance of applications.

Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of code.

Work with databases and data structures to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.

Implement security measures to protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation to ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer.

Candidate should be
able to work independently
and demonstrate ability to work on all aspects of java application build: coding, setup (including maven and continuous integration), framework choice and integration, database design etc. A good capacity to troubleshoot incident and correct issues without introducing regression will also be determinant for the position.

Candidate should have a strong knowledge on java architecture and design patterns and should be able to quickly acquire corporate standards. Candidate should have at least 7+ years of experience as senior/lead developer in java technology and be able to coach and support less experienced team members.

Candidate will work and communicate with other team members in France on a daily basis and should therefore have good English speaking, writing and reporting skills.

*Technical Skills:
Mandatory*
Should have BTech/BE or MCA degree

7 to 13 years of experience

Strong proficiency in Java programming language

Experience with SpringBoot framework

Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development

Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

Understanding of software development principles and methodologies

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE

Developer or Spring Professional Certification.

Mandatory:
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE*

• 7 to 13 yrs. experience in Java, J2EE, SQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, Oracle, SQL Server
• Strong in Core Java, J2EE and MVC architecture.
• Good written and oral communication skills (English required).
• Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

*Desirable:*

• Experience with Spring and Spring MVC application
• Experience in handling low level design.

*Mandatory:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS*

• B.E./ B.Tech or MCA in Computers/ Information Technology or related discipline
