Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Outside Sales Executive to drive client acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will leverage existing industry connections, re-engage with former clients and develop new opportunities through strategic prospecting.
This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of AV/technology solutions and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconnect with former clients, rebuild relationships and generate repeat business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and regions.
- Meet clients face-to-face to present AV solutions and proposals.
- Work closely with inside sales, design and estimation teams to develop tailored proposals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain and update client interactions, opportunities and pipeline in the CRM.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking sessions.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on client requirements, market trends and competition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics/IT or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in outside sales, business development or account management (preferably in AV/IT solutions or related technology sector).
- Demonstrated success in re-engaging former clients and generating repeat business.
- Strong industry network and established client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling AV integration, IT infrastructure or enterprise technology solutions.
- Knowledge of AV systems, control platforms and industry standards.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
