Roles of a Jewellery Showroom Manager

Oversee daily operations of the jewellery showroom.

Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets.

Ensure excellent customer service and maintain brand reputation.

Manage stock, inventory, and display arrangements.

Act as a link between showroom staff and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

Achieve monthly/annual sales targets.

Handle VIP and high-value customers personally.

Train staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.

Resolve customer complaints effectively.

Showroom Operations

Oversee daily opening & closing of the showroom.

Ensure proper security of jewellery and cash.

Maintain cleanliness, lighting, and attractive product displays.

Implement company policies and SOPs.

Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchase/warehouse teams.

Check incoming/outgoing stock with proper documentation.

Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Team Management

Recruit, train, and evaluate showroom staff.

Assign duties and prepare duty rosters.

Motivate the team to deliver top performance and maintain discipline.

Financial & Reporting

Handle billing, payments, and cash register management.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance reports.

Monitor expenses and control showroom operational costs.

Marketing & Customer Relations

Coordinate promotional activities, festive offers, and events.

Build long-term customer relationships and maintain a client database.

Encourage repeat business through loyalty programs.
