Job Description: Analyst - PMO

Location: Khar, Mumbai

Position Overview:

This role focuses on financial analysis, reporting, and process optimization, supporting strategic decision-making and driving efficiency improvements across the finance division. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft high-quality reports and presentations for board meetings, audit committees, and other senior-level forums.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement within the finance division.
  • Provide detailed commentary and insights on financial statements for the UPL Group.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management.
  • Conduct data analysis to support cost optimization initiatives and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as investor relations, corporate finance, tax, and business divisions, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in financial processes and support their implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance from Premium institute
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related domain.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing insightful reports and commentary.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Exposure to process automation tools or experience in driving efficiency improvements is a plus.
