Position Summary:

Wind Power Engineers are responsible for the design, development, implementation, and optimization of wind power projects, covering turbine selection, site layout, wind resource analysis, electromechanical system integration, and grid connection schemes. The role aims to achieve efficient, stable, and economical operation of wind power projects through technical optimization and system integration, and to drive the achievement of the company's renewable energy strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities:

Wind Resource Assessment and Site Analysis

Assess wind resource data (wind speed, wind direction, topography, etc.)

Develop wind farm layout and turbine location optimization plans

Wind Power System Design and Technical Solutions

Turbine Selection and System Design (Electrical, Mechanical, Control Systems)

Develop wind power project technical specifications, construction drawings, and material lists

Project Construction and On-site Support

Coordinate with electromechanical, civil engineering, and electrical teams to ensure consistency between construction and design

Resolve on-site technical issues and support the construction and commissioning phases

Equipment Selection and Supplier Management

Participate in the selection of wind turbines, converters, towers, and other key equipment

Assess supplier technical capabilities and quality management systems

System Commissioning and Performance Optimization

Participate in wind turbine grid connection commissioning, performance testing, and operational optimization

Analyze wind farm operation data to improve energy efficiency and power generation

Project Management and Quality Control

Cooperation Assist project managers in controlling construction progress, cost, and quality.

Ensure projects are executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Policy, regulatory, and industry standard compliance.

Familiar with wind power industry standards, grid connection specifications, and national policies.

Ensure projects operate compliantly and legally.

Technological research and innovation.

Tracking wind power technology development trends and innovative solutions.

Providing suggestions for wind turbine performance optimization, system integration, and intelligent operation and maintenance improvements.

Cross-departmental collaboration and technical support.

Providing technical support to sales, bidding, finance, and policy teams.

Preparing technical reports and project evaluation documents.

Safety and environmental management.

Ensuring safety and environmental protection during the construction and operation of wind power projects.

Assisting in the development of HSE management plans.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or above in wind energy, renewable energy, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.

Work experience: 2-5 years of experience in wind power project design, construction, or operation and maintenance; experience with large-scale wind farm projects is preferred.

Skills:

Familiar with wind farm planning, wind turbine selection, wind energy resource assessment, and system design. Proficient in wind power design and simulation software (WindFarmer, PVSyst, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.).

Master wind turbine performance analysis, power generation prediction, and economic evaluation methods.

Understand wind farm construction and operation and maintenance processes.

Good English reading and writing skills; able to read international technical standards.

Possess cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.

Able to adapt to business trips and on-site project work environments.
