Customer Trust & Assurance Specialist

Location: Remote

Experience: 2 – 10 years

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Trust & Assurance Specialist to join our growing healthcare technology team. In this role, you will serve as a vital bridge between our product, engineering, and security teams and our customers' compliance and security functions. Your mission: to help customers build confidence in our platform by ensuring transparency, integrity, and compliance in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer security and compliance questionnaires and coordinate evidence collection and validation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to review and verify technical documentation.
  • Evaluate and challenge technical evidence to ensure it meets compliance expectations.
  • Translate complex technical and security concepts into clear, customer-facing compliance language.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cloud security frameworks across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Work with healthcare compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, and related standards.
  • Support audits, security assessments, and customer due diligence processes.
  • (Bonus) Contribute to discussions on AI security and its implications for healthcare data protection.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2–10 years of experience in security assurance, compliance, or trust & risk management.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud security principles, controls, and best practices.
  • Experience working with regulated environments, preferably in healthcare or health tech.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for building trust through transparency.
