Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle the procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables for production.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and design departments for material planning and specification confirmation.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier invoices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms with vendors.
  • Assist in supplier audits and quality verification.
  • Maintain records and reports related to material procurement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in purchase, quality, or production (preferably in pump, drum motor, or hydro cyclone part manufacturing units).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of machining, fabrication, casting, and assembly components.
  • Familiarity with ERP or purchase management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Candidates with experience in industrial pump or hydro cyclone manufacturing will have an added advantage.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
