Job Description: Purchase Executive

Location: Kadathur Pirivu, Kovilpalayam

Experience: 3–4 Years

Salary Range: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and inventory-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and a good understanding of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the production and stores departments to understand material requirements.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payments.
  • Build and maintain healthy vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Supply Chain / Commerce preferred).
  • 3–4 years experience in purchase or procurement.
  • Good knowledge of vendor management and procurement practices.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with MS Office / ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
