Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Android applications for wearable IoT devices and Android TV platforms.
  • Implement real-time camera streaming, mirroring, and video rendering features.
  • Integrate and communicate with external IoT hardware devices via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB.
  • Utilize MVVM architecture to ensure a scalable and maintainable codebase.
  • Integrate Machine Learning and AI features using ML Kit, TensorFlow Lite, or similar frameworks.
  • Handle API integrations, background services, and data persistence mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, hardware teams, and UI/UX designers to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and battery efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android, IoT, and ML/AI technologies.

Location: Bangalore (On-site)

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1+ year of professional experience in Android development, or strong hands-on knowledge demonstrated through projects, internships, or personal work.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of CameraX, camera preview handling, and streaming techniques.
  • Experience in mirroring or screen-casting applications (academic or professional).
  • Familiarity with Android TV development and remote navigation controls.
  • Solid grasp of MVVM architecture, LiveData, and ViewModel concepts.
  • Experience with API integration using Retrofit, OkHttp, or similar libraries.
  • Good understanding of Android lifecycle, background services, and UI thread management.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Experience or familiarity with standard Android development tools and best practices.
