Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Android Developer
with over 9 years of hands-on expertise in
native Android development using Kotlin
. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, a solid understanding of
MVVM architecture
and
Android Jetpack Compose
, and a keen awareness of the
banking and finance domain
, including its technology trends, products, and regulatory environment. This role requires a self-motivated developer with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Implement UI components and layouts using Android Jetpack Compose for modern and responsive interfaces.
  • Apply MVVM architecture patterns to ensure maintainable and testable codebases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
  • Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and regulatory standards relevant to the banking and financial domain.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Stay updated with emerging Android technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies, tools, and strategies within Agile teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of proven experience in native Android development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin (mandatory).
  • Experience working with MVVM architecture and Jetpack Compose.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and mobile security best practices.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong awareness of the banking and financial industry, including technologies, products, and compliance requirements.
