Role: HRBP PMS

Reporting To: Vice President (PMS and C&B)

Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose:

The job holder holds responsibility for the effective implementation and management of the organization's performance management systems. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless execution of key PMS processes, driving continuous improvement, and aligning the PMS framework with the company's strategic objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

1) Performance Management Systems (PMS)

  • Responsible for the end to end performance appraisal process Regional employees including goal setting process.
  • Coordinate the mid-year review and final appraisal processes for the Regional employees, completing them within the given timelines.
  • Review and update the standard balanced scorecard for the Marketing and Operations departments, ensuring adherence to timelines and alignment to organizational objectives

2) Promotion Process

  • Oversee the de-centralized promotion process and co-ordinate with Regional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate closure.
  • Manage the fast-track promotions process, adhering to timelines
  • Handle exam related actuarial increments ensuring completion within given timelines
  • Oversee the updation of system records and communication of promotion letter

3) System Readiness

  • Ensure system readiness for key PMS activities, including KPA setting, mid-year review, and final appraisal
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from concerned stakeholders to enhance the PMS processes

4) Process Improvement

  • Identification and implementation of market best practices in performance management, collaborating with senior team members to develop and maintain relevant frameworks
  • Lead the implementation of special projects related to PMS, incorporating manager feedback

5) Stakeholder Relations

  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including the Vice President - PMS and C&B, managers, and cross-functional teams
  • Provide regular updates and reports on PMS-related activities and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Graduation is mandatory
  • Post-graduation from any recognized university/institution in Human Resource Management

Experience

  • 6-12 years of experience in Performance Management, Human Resources Business Partnering, or similar function
  • Should have experience in BFSI business of similar size and complexity
  • Preferable to have cross-functional experience in Human Resources

Functional / Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Insurance Fundamentals, Products & Processes
  • Digital Readiness Proficient in working on MS Office & Android / Apple Platforms
  • Proficient in HR analytics and HRIS systems
  • Proficient in knowledge of performance management systems, compensation & benefits best practices
