Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Planning & Inventory Control Specialist located in Ahmedabad. The Specialist will oversee production schedules, manage inventory levels, and create efficient production plans to meet business needs. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with various departments to align production goals, analyzing inventory data, and ensuring sufficient materials are available for uninterrupted production processes. The role requires close monitoring of daily operations and offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Production Planning and creating efficient Production Schedules to meet operational goals
- Strong Analytical Skills and Planning capabilities to forecast and manage resources effectively
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with various departments and convey information clearly
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for managing inventory levels and ensuring operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in production planning or inventory control roles within the pharmaceutical sector is a plus
