Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Track and analyze media coverage of the company and its competitors
  • Create daily or weekly reports and flag any notable mentions or articles for the team
  • Assist in drafting and editing press releases, media alerts, and other communications
  • Gather quotes or key points from various departments as needed
  • Research and maintain a database of relevant journalists, bloggers, and influencers who align with the company's industry and target audience
  • Assist in pitching stories to media outlets
  • Draft pitch emails, coordinate with reporters, and follow up on previous outreach efforts
