Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Public Relations Intern to support our media and communication efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen interest in startups, media, and storytelling, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media pitches, and newsletters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR campaigns.
  • Support social media and content initiatives that align with PR strategies.
  • Research industry trends, competitor PR activities, and potential media opportunities.
  • Coordinate events, interviews, and partnerships with media and industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and media.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, media databases, and basic content creation is a plus.
  • Proactive, creative, and eager to learn.
