  • A Collection Executive is responsible for recovering outstanding debts from clients by contacting them, negotiating payment plans, and resolving payment discrepancies. Key duties include maintaining accurate records, following up on payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Core responsibilities

  • Payment collection: Contact clients to discuss overdue payments and collect outstanding debts.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients to secure repayment while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, transactions, and communications.

  • Discrepancy resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries related to billing.

  • Follow-up: Follow up on payment commitments and commitments to ensure timely payment.

  • Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on collection activities and account statuses to management.
