About the Role

As a Career Counselor at IIDE, you will play a key role in guiding prospective students through their educational journey. You will counsel students on IIDE's digital marketing courses, provide valuable career advice, and assist them in making informed decisions. This role also involves mentoring junior counselors, achieving sales targets, and ensuring high-quality student interactions. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, empathetic, and driven to help students succeed in their career paths.

What You'll Do

Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Counsel students about IIDE's digital marketing courses, helping them choose the right path based on their interests and career goals.
  • Communicate with students and parents both in person and over the phone to address queries and explain course options.
  • Provide expert advice on career opportunities and guide students throughout their learning journey.

Mentorship & Team Collaboration

  • Mentor and support junior counselors to improve their counseling performance and meet targets.
  • Assist in training new team members and maintain consistency across the counseling department.

Target Achievement & Reporting

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to student counseling and course enrollment.
  • Track and calculate conversion rates while ensuring effective lead follow-ups.
  • Use CRM tools and sales automation systems to monitor performance and generate reports.

Additional Duties

  • Handle escalations, manage complex student queries, and oversee larger student groups as required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management aligned with the role's objectives.

Who You Are

Must-Have

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in counseling or sales, preferably in the EdTech industry.
  • Skills: Fluent written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Sales & Counseling: Strong goal-oriented mindset with an interest in sales and education counseling.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and sales automation tools.

Should Have

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in an EdTech company in a counseling or sales role.
  • Certifications or knowledge in digital marketing or educational counseling.

Expected Deliverables / KPIs

  • Calls: Minimum 60–80 connected calls per day.
  • Revenue Targets: Consistent achievement of weekly revenue targets aligned with batch requirements.
  • Talk Time: 2–3 hours of active talk time per day (average).
  • Location Requirement: Candidate must be residing in Mumbai.
